About Resource Development
Current and recent resource development that Torben is involved in includes:
- 'Control Insight', systems based control software for primary and secondary education published by Longman Logotron. Consultant on software design, plus contributions to guides and tutorials
- Contribution on ECT to the Intermediate Technology Group's Sustainable Design Award materials
- Development of teacher training materials for the DATA website
Previous resource development has included:
- 'Made to Measure', a publication in Stanley Thornes' 'Century Maths' series linking Maths with Science and D&T in the context of measurement
- Contribution to curriculum materials of the Bristol Energy Centre (now Centre for Sustainable Energy)
- Contribution to materials in the Centre for Alternative Technology's "Green Teacher Resources" series
- Contributions to materials in UNILAB's 'AMPS' range
- Development of Science and D&T resources to support learning at Alton Towers
